Oil supplies to Kazakh oil refineries decrease in January

The real oil supply to the Kazakh oil refineries amounted to 1.189 million tons in January, 2012 compared to 1.229 million tons in the same period of 2011, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend on Tuesday.

The volume of oil supply to the Kazakh oil refineries in January, 2012 is 10.1 percent less than the volume of the previous month, and 3.3 percent less than in January, 2011.

Kazakhstan imported for its refineries 458,800 tons of crude oil in January, 2012 which makes up 38.6 percent of total shipments, including 412,100 tons for the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, which focuses on Russian crude oil, 2,900 tons - for Atyrau Petrochemical Complex and 43,900 tons - for PetroKazakhstan Oil Products.
