Kazakh company KMK Munai producing oil in the Aktobe region plans to increase oil production to 700,000 tons in 2012, Aktobe region's head Archimed Mukhambetov said on Wednesday, Kazinform reported.
"The company produced 70,000 tons of oil in 2011. In 2012 the company will make a breakthrough according to all indexes and increase oil production to 700,000 tones," Mukhambetov said.
Moreover, Aktobe region will increase oil production to 8 million tons per year in the next 2-3 years, Mukhambetov said.
