In the first three weeks of March, the highest price for a barrel of Iran's oil was $124.62 on the Asian market and the average lowest price was $121.30 in the Mediterranean one, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports.
A barrel of Iran's heavy crude oil cost $122.38 on March 23.On the same day, the highest price for Iran's light crude oil of $124.02 was paid by the Asian market while the lowest price, $121.62, was paid by the Mediterranean one.
A weak dollar, strong Euro and new reports about a drop in Iran's oil exports are among the factors driving up oil prices in world markets.
A barrel of North Sea Brent Crude fetched $125.13 on the Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) in London on Friday, up $1.99.
