Turkmenistan auctioned about 630,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Turkmenistan auctioned about 630,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 250,000 tons of gasoline, 20,000 tons of furnace oil, 180,000 tons of fuel oil, 60,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, about 50,000 tons of liquefied gas and about 40,000 tons of kerosene, 20,000 tons of light gas oil and 10,000 tons of diesel fuel.

Companies from Russia, Romania, Turkey, Afghanistan, Virgin Islands and Iran bought gasoline, liquefied gas, polypropylene, low-sulfur furnace fuel oil.

Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products hits $105 million.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, Great Britain, China, Russia, Liechtenstein, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.
The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
