Iran's Marun Oil and Gas Producing Company added 13,000 barrels a day of oil to its production base, Shana news agency reported on Sunday.
The company's production grew from 580,000 barrels a day to 593,000 last year (Iran's solar year ended on March 19).
Marun drilled 16 new wells with the capacity to produce 24,000 barrels of oil a day last year. It also drilled 12 repair wells.
The company was able to increase production despite having to deal with the geologically-caused crumpling of some well casings.
Marun is a subsidiary of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC).
