The Kazakh government has increased public funding for regional geological exploration to nearly 60 billion tenge per year ($1-147.7 tenge), Kazakh Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies Nurlan Sauranbayev said.
"The Government intends to allocate, depending on the year, up to 60 billion tenge annually to conduct exploration work in the country's regions," said Sauranbayev, speaking at the III mining Forum MINEX in Astana.
