Oil supplies to Kazakh oil refineries increases in first quarter of 2012

The real oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted to 3.579 million tons in January-March, 2012 compared to 3.192 million tons during the same period of 2011, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.

The volume of oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries hit 1.295 million tons in March, 2012 or 18.3 percent more compared to February. In March, 2011 oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted 0.938 million tons.

Kazakhstan imported for its refineries 636,000 tons of crude oil in March, 2012 which makes up 49.1 percent of total shipments, including 504,900 tons for the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, which focuses on Russian crude oil, 1,000 tons - for Atyrau Petrochemical Complex and 130,100 tons - for PetroKazakhstan Oil Products.
