The Sheki electric power station has generated about 129.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity during January-May, energy company Azerenerji said on Wednesday.
In May, the electric power station generated approximately 24.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity.
Sheki electric power station which was built under programme of socio-economic development of the regions is of particular importance in the power supply of the north-western region of the country.
Its capacity is 87 megawatts and consists of 10 units. A 110 kW double circuit transmission line 19.2 kilometres long was built to transmit electricity produced at the station.
