Work has begun on the construction of a 500-millimeter high pressure gas pipeline between sections of Dashgil and Kenizdag 16 kilometers long, Azneft production union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said on Wednesday.
The pipeline is being constructed based on the order of the Oil and Gas Production Department named after N. Narimanov of SOCAR.
Also on the basis of the order of the Department, construction and installation of a 500-millimeter high pressure gas pipeline compressor station on the route Kenizdag-Sangachal (main set) are nearing completion.
The pipeline's length is over 11.7 kilometers.
SOCAR includes production association Azneft (companies producing oil and gas on land and sea), Production Association Azerkimya (chemical industry), production association Azerigas (gas distribution).
