A new CEO of The Asian Pipeline is appointed in Kazakhstan, Kazakh national company KazTransGas said on Friday.
"Shayakhmetov Beimbeta appointed CEO of the partnership and elected chairman of the board until the term of the current composition of the board of the partnership from July 30, 2012, in accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors of JSC KazTransGas dated July 26, and the general meeting of members of a limited liability company Asian gas pipeline" the statement said.
Beimbet Shayakhmetov has extensive experience in the oil industry. Over the years, he held senior positions at such companies as Kazakhoil, Uzenmunaigas, KazMunaiGas, KazMunayTeniz, KazTransGas. He has been CEO of Asian pipeline since 2008.
KazTransGas was established in 2000 to organize the work in the oil and gas industry and to work on corporate asset management in the exploration, production, transportation and distribution of gas.
