SOCAR and its foreign partners have exported over 19 million tons of oil in the first half of the year, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Friday.
This volume is eight percent lower than in the same period in 2011.
The committee said the gas export volume amounted to over 3.27 billion cubic meters, which is 16.5 percent lower than in the first half of 2011.
The bulk of oil production falls to Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, developed by SOCAR in partnership with foreign companies. The greatest volume of gas production now accounts for Shah Deniz.
