The volume of gas export in Kazakhstan amounted to 6.786 billion cubic meters of gas in January-July, 2012, Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In July, 2012, Kazakhstan's gas exports increased to 1.118 billion cubic meters compared to 956 million cubic meters in July 2012. In June 2012 Kazakhstan exported 978 million cubic meters of gas.
In July 2012 Kazakhstan exported 32.3 percent of 3.455 billion cubic meters of gas produced in the country.
Import of gas in the country in January-July, 2012 amounted to 1.32 billion cubic meters. In June 2012 Kazakhstan imported 205.8 million cubic meters of natural gas or 8.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2011 and 43.9 percent more compared to June 2011.
