Most of the companies bidding in the privatisation of Bashkentgas are foreign, it was reported to Trend on Wednesday by the Department on Privatisation at the Ministry of Finance in Turkey.
According to official sources, the consideration of profitable offers is currently being processed. He also added that Turkish companies are also amongst those interested in the privatisation of Bashkentgas as well.
Previously, on September 12, the tender to the purchase of Bashkentgas gas distribution company's shares was declared. It has been planned that Bashkentgas will become totally privatised. The deadline for tenders is December 17 2012.
More than 700,000 shares to the sum of 50 million dollars is being offered in the tender.
