Extensive work is carried out on industrial development of the major gas field Galkinish in Mari region, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Monday.
A powerful water treatment equipment, corresponding to world standards, is located at 421 kilometer of Karakum river, along the edge of drainage.
Reportedly, advanced technology of PRC is used in all equipment parts, which enables production of high quality purified water.
Pumps, filtration system and other cleaning products have been installed to all the equipment parts. The specialists of Marigaschikarish company and of Turkmengas state concern are trained together with representatives of Chinese company.
Moreover, construction of the complex of powerful sulfur treatment plants, gas pipeline with the high pressure along Mari-Serkhedabat railway station is carried out.
Turkmen President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamdow was introduced to the construction process and urged to speed up the construction pace.
Galkinish is the second largest gas field in the world with the reserves of 26.2 trillion cubic meters, according to British Gaffney, Cline & Associates. According to specialists, the gas field has the square of 1800 square kilometers.
Turkmengas state concern signed contracts on implementation of complex works with such companies as CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited (PRC), LG International Corp an Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd (South Korea) as well as with Petrofac International LLC and Gulf Oil & Gas FZE (UAE).
CNPC is working on gas production in the volume of 10 milliard cubic meters per year, in particular well drilling, construction of installations for initial gas treatment, gas plant, cables and sewers, gas pipelines, construction of gas pipeline with the length of 108 kilometers. The drilling of 22 wells with 4680 meters depth is considered.
