Bakhvi HPP (West Georgia), suffered damage worth $2 million as a result of a landslide, the work customer's representative Vakhtang Gongadze told reporters on Monday.
The landslide destroyed the main machine equipment at the hydropower plant.
According to Gongadze, the damage has not been fully clarified. If the landslide damaged also machinery equipment, the damage will increase to $3 million.
According to witnesses, the landslide took place on Sunday at about 19:00.
