Change of power in Georgia not to affect SOCAR projects

SOCAR is implementing all of its projects in accordance with international standards and requirements of legislative base, change of power in Georgia will not affect company’s activity, the head of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists on Tuesday.

SOCAR is implementing all of its projects in accordance with international standards and requirements of legislative base, change of power in Georgia will not affect company's activity, the head of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists on Tuesday.

The company is realising major projects in Georgia and is one of is one of the largest taxpayers, Abdullayev noted.

SOCAR currently owns over 30 gas distribution nets in Georgia, as well as 100 gas stations. The company also supplies gas and gas products to Georgia. Moreover, SOCAR owns Kulevi oil terminal in Georgia and is constructing a carbamide plant.
