Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 65.758 billion cubic meters in January-October, 2012 compared to 66.545 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2011, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In October, 2012 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 6.219 billion cubic meters compared to 6.614 billion in September and 7.245 billion cubic meters in October, 2011.
Some 9.137 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in January-October, 2012 accounted for Central Asian gas compared to 11.963 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2011.
In October, 2012 the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 0.916 billion cubic meters compared to 1.004 billion in October, 2011.
