Over 187 mln barrels of oil produced on Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli in nine months

During the first nine months of 2012, BP and its partners produced 187.4 million barrels or 25.3 million tons of oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil and gas field (ACG), the British company said in an official report for nine months on Monday.

During the first nine months of 2012, BP and its partners produced 187.4 million barrels or 25.3 million tons of oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil and gas field (ACG), the British company said in an official report for nine months on Monday.

According to the report, average daily oil production on ACG was 684,000 barrels in January-September.

During the first nine months, ACG spent $539.7 million in operating expenditure and $1,807 million in capital expenditure, read the report.

Participants of the project to develop Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli are: BP (operator - 35.83 percent), Chevron (11.27 percent), Inpex (10.96 percent), AzACG (11.6 percent), Statoil (8.56 percent), Exxon (8 percent), TPAO (6.75 percent), Itocu (4.3 percent) and Hess (2.72 percent). Hess has sold its share to Indian ONGC, the transaction will be completed in the first quarter of 2013.
