In 2012, Azerkimya Production Unit (production of chemical products) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 27,400 tons of propylene, or 24.1% more than in 2011, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend on Friday.
A decrease was observed in all basic chemical products produced by Azerkimya in 2012.

Thus, in 2012, 27.26 thousand tons of solid polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses were produced, or 3.1% more compared to 2011. Some 627 tons of porous polyurethane plates and strips were produced in the republic. This is 47.5%t more than in 2011.
