Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 76.577 billion cubic meters in 2012 compared to 78.41 billion cubic meters in 2011, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In December, 2012 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 6.415 billion cubic meters compared to 6.165 billion in November, 2012 and 6.41 billion cubic meters in December, 2011.
Some 10.957 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in 2012, accounted for Central Asian gas compared to 14.461 billion cubic meters in 2011.
In December, 2012 the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 0.913 billion cubic meters compared to 0.938 billion in December, 2011.
