The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 251,750 tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in January-February 2013 compared to about 332,870 tons in January-February 2012, SOCAR said on Monday.
The company exported 2.06 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2012 compared to 1.99 million tons in 2011.
According to the report, in February 249,120 tons of oil was exported from Novorossiysk compared to 253,300 tons in February 2012.
SOCAR tranships its own oil, as well as that of joint ventures and operating companies functioning in Azerbaijan's onshore fields via Novorossiysk.
Until late 2007, AIOC was the operator of Baku-Novorossiysk. The structure then transferred these functions to SOCAR.
