Kazakhstan increased oil and gas condensate production by 1.8 percent in the first six months of 2013

Kazakhstan increased oil and gas condensate production by 1.8 percent in the first six months of 2013, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the Kazakh Statistics Agency.

Oil and gas condensate production in the reporting period hit 40.4 million tons, including 34.417 million tons of oil (3.3 percent increase compared to the same period of 2012) and 5.949 million tons of gas condensate (6.1 percent decrease).

Kazakhstan's natural gas production increased by 1.9 percent to 20.720 billion cubic meters in January-June 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.

Gasoline production (including aviation fuel) fell by 15.6 percent to 1.262 million tons in the first half of 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.

Diesel fuel production in the country hit 2.638 million tons (16.3 percent increase), fuel oil production hit 1.993 million tons (2.6 percent increase).
