Oil and gas prices ups in Kazakhstan

Oil and natural gas prices soared in Kazakhstan in July compared to June, Kazakh Statistics Agency reported on Thursday.

In the reporting period, oil rose in prices by 1.2 percent, gas condensate - by 17.4 percent, natural gas - by 3.3 percent, heating oil and diesel fuel - by 1.6 percent. Meanwhile, gasoline prices toppled by 1.8 percent, liquefied propane and butane - by 1.6 percent, coal - by 1.2 percent, kerosene - by 1.1 percent.

Raw aluminium prices rose by 1.5 percent, ferroalloys - by 1.4 percent, rolled ferrous metals - by 1.3 percent in July.

Lead prices fell by 5.6 percent, precious metals - by 3.5 percent, copper - by 2.1 percent, raw zinc - by 1.6 percent.

In general prices in Kazakhstan's mining industry increased by 2.9 percent in July compared to June. Manufacturing industry prices decreased by 0.7 percent.
