Novorossiysk Port cuts oil transshipment by over 10 percent

The Russian Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port transhipped 54.72 million tons of oil in January-July 2013 compared to 66.24 million tons in January-July 2012, the port's official website reported.

The port transhipped 110.83 million tons of oil in 2012 compared to 113.39 million tons in 2011.

The port also transported over 15 million tons of oil products during the reporting period compared to 10.47 million tons in January-July 2012.

Transhipment of 83.3 million tons of various cargo took place in January-July compared to 94 million tons in January-July 2012.

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports its own oil through this port.
