The Kazakh subsidiary of the Rompetrol Group Company TRG Petrol Ticaret AS Rompetrol Group is seeing great prospects for itself in Turkey's fuel and lubricants market, Director General of TRG Petrol Ticaret AS Rompetrol Group Talgat Chinikeyev said on Thursday in Astana.

"Turkey is one of the promising markets in our economy," Chinikeyev said speaking at the Kazakh-Turkish business forum in Astana.

According to him, the favourable geographic location, low transport costs and high growth rates of the Turkish economy are the main factors for entering this market.

"According to the prognosis, demand in Turkey's fuel and lubricants will amount to 50 million tons of oil products per year by 2025 with an annual growth of demand amounting to four per cent," Chinikeyev said.

According to him, currently over 12,500 gas stations operate on the Turkish market.
