"Azerigas" Production Association (PO) of the Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) provides its customers with gas depending on the required volumes of consumption, the PO told Trend on Friday.
"Azerigas" PO is engaged in distribution and sale of gas to customers in the territory of Azerbaijan.
The PO said that there are no problems in gas supply to customers and "Azerigas" is ready to ensure the supply of all necessary volumes of gas to subscribers regardless the season.
"The gas supply in the country is actually determined by the weather conditions, that is to say, in the autumn-winter period, gas consumption grows, and in accordance to the growth of consumption, gas supply to subscribers increases," the PO said.
Speaking about technical preparation of the PO to the autumn-winter season, "Azerigaz" said that the preparatory work for the gas transportation infrastructure and all necessary equipment are continuing and will be fully completed by November 15 this year.
Talking about the periodic interruptions in natural gas supply in the country's territory, the PO said that the restrictions in gas supply in Baku's districts and the republic's regions are observed in connection with the work to improve the level of gasification and improvement of gas supply in the whole territory of Azerbaijan. It is planned to bring the gasification level in the country to 90 per cent by late 2013.
