By E.Ismailov - Trend: Four enterprises for production of plastic pipes and other plastic spare parts will be commissioned in Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park till late 2013, head of the Azerikimya Production Association (PA) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Mukhtar Babayev told journalists on Monday.
According to him, two companies - Azertexnoline and SOCAR-Polimir have been registered in the park.
At this time, the first company's enterprise on the production of steel pipes with plastic coating is already operating in the park.
Till late 2013, Azertexnoline will put into operation three more companies to produce plastic pipes, plastic and metal compounds and other spare parts.
In turn, SOCAR-Polimir has started the construction of a plant for the production of polypropylene, the commissioning of which is expected in the first quarter of 2016.
In total more than 20 companies will be operating in the park.
