By Emil Ismayilov - Trend: As of November 7, 2013, the daily volume of gas supplied to Azerbaijan's population is 11.3 million cubic meters compared to 7.9 million cubic meters as of October 24, SOCAR's Azerigaz Production Association told Trend today.
An increase in gas consumption is connected with bad weather conditions in the country.
According to the source, around 6.2 million cubic meters of the total volume of daily gas consumption is in Baku.
"Currently, around 5.1 million cubic meters of gas are used in the provincial areas of the country each day," Azerigaz said.
Azerigaz deals with the distribution and sale of natural gas to consumers in Azerbaijan.
