The revenues of the Kazakh KazTransGas Aimak doubled in the last three years.

The revenues of the Kazakh KazTransGas Aimak doubled in the last three years, Kazakhs Ministry of Industry and New Technologies told Trend on Dec.24.

"The revenues from the main activity of the company doubled in three years. So, if in 2010 the revenues amounted to 54.542.97 billion tenge, in 2011 - 86.491.2 billion tenge, in 2012 - 119.102.2 billion tenge ($1=153.72 tenge)," the ministry said.

The "Regional gas transportation system" JSC started gas transportation through the pipelines of "KazTransGas Aimak" JSC (KTGA) in 2007.

KazTransGas Aimak" JSC is the largest gas distribution complex in Kazakhstan: about 30,000 kilometers of distribution and main gas pipelines with all necessary infrastructures.

The volume of gas sales increased by three times (to 11 billion cubic meters per year) in four years of work, according to the ministry. The length of distribution pipelines of KTGA increased from eight kilometers to over 30,000 kilometers and the number of customers increased from 600,000 to 1 million during this period.

The assets grew from 56 billion tenge to 102 billion tenge and revenues increased from 46.2 billion tenge to 142.9 billion tenge from 2009 to 2013.

A gas pipeline running from the automated gas distribution station "Kordai" to the town of Shu with the length of 106 kilometers was constructed in 2012. The implementation of the 'Modernization of gas distribution networks in the city of Taraz' project with the implementation period from 2012 to 2019 started in the same year.

The company entered the market of gas supply to Atyrau and Kostanai provinces in 2013.

The volume of annual capital investments in gas distribution networks increased by 4.5 times in last three years, amounting 14.468.194 billion tenge between 2010 and 2012.
