Kazakhstan ups gasoline production in Jan-Aug.

Kazakhstan decreased motor fuel production by 15.1 percent in Jan.- Aug. 2014 compared to the same period of 2013

By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakhstan decreased motor fuel production by 15.1 percent in Jan.- Aug. 2014 compared to the same period of 2013, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the Statistics Committee under Kazakh National Economy Ministry.

Gasoline including jet fuel production hit 1.954 million metric tons in the reporting period.

Diesel fuel production decreased by 4.9 percent to 3.252 million metric tons, while fuel oil decreased 7.4 percent to 2.378 million metric tons in this period.
Kazakhstan also reduced coal and coal concentrate production by 6.6 percent to 68.073 million metric tons in Jan. - Aug. 2014 compared to the same period of 2013.
Black coal and lignite production hit 64.643 million metric tons (7 percent decrease), coal concentrate production amounted to 3.43 metric tons (1.8 percent increase) in the reporting period.
