Kazakh oil transporting company increases net income

By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakh National oil transporting company KazTransOil increased net income from 52.016 billion tenge in 2013 to 59.758 tenge (184.45 tenge = $1) in 2014, Kazakh Stock Exchange KASE reported with the reference to the company's unconsolidated and unaudited financial results.

Revenues of the company increased by 7.2 percent to 180.281 billion tenge in the reporting period.

KazTransOil's operational profit increased from 61.53 billion tenge in 2013 to 72.529 billion tenge in 2014.

Consolidated profit decreased from 84.172 billion tenge in 2013 to 78.646 billion tenge in 2014.

KazTransOil is the Kazakh national operator of the main oil pipelines. It is the largest oil transportation company of Kazakhstan, which owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with total length of 5,000 kilometers and water pipelines with total length exceeding 2,000 kilometers.

The consolidated volume of oil and oil products transportation and throughput for KazTransOil group of companies amounted to 64.5 million metric tons and exceeded the guidance by 908,000 metric tons and decreased by 3.215 million metric tons compare to 2013.

The consolidated oil turnover amounted to 44.206 billion metric tons per kilometer and exceeded the guidance by 457 million tons per kilometer and decreased by 1.286 billion metric tons per kilometer compared to 2013 year.

The volume of oil transportation separately for the main pipeline system of KazTransOil hit 50.33 million metric tons (415,000 metric tons over the target and 3.892 million metric tons below the results of 2013.

The oil turnover separately for KazTransOil reached 35.832 billion metric tons per kilometer in 2014 (236 million tons per kilometer above the target and 1.162 billion tons per kilometer less than in 2013).
