Kazakhstan increases oil and gas production

The oil and natural gas production increased in Kazakhstan in January-July 2015 compared to the same period of last year, the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said.

The production of oil, including gas condensate, in the reporting period increased by 0.7 percent and reached 47 million tons, the statement said.

The production of refined copper increased by 38.1 percent - up to 0.2 million tons in Kazakhstan for the first seven months of 2015. The production of flat rolling increased by 0.4 percent to 1.5 million tons, the report said.

The production of copper ore decreased by 14.7 percent - to 19.1 million tons in the country during the reporting period. The gasoline production reduced by 2.8 percent - to 1.6 million tons, gas oil (diesel fuel) - by 2.7 percent to 2.7 million tons.

The electricity production reduced by 2.3 percent to 52.8 billion kilowatt / hours in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan produced 80.845 million tons of oil, including gas condensate in 2014, which is 1.2 percent less than in 2013.
