Azerbaijan produced 1.75 million metric tons of diesel fuel in January-July 2015, or 13.1 percent more than in the same period of 2014, the country's State Statistics Committee said in its report.
Currently, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is modernizing its processing facilities, as the fuel consumption has increased in the country.
Almost 3.67 million metric tons of petroleum products were produced in Azerbaijan in January-July 2015, compared to over 2.7 million metric tons in the same period of 2014.
