No changes in BTC’s oil transportation through Turkey

The volume of oil transportation via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline through Turkey's territory totaled 198.2 million barrels from Jan.-Sept. 2015, which is equal to the volume transported in the same period in 2014, said the message from Turkey's BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation.

In total, the BTC transported 260.68 million barrels of oil through Turkey's territory in 2014, compared to 249.62 million barrels in 2013.

The total length of the BТС is 1,768 kilometers including a 443 kilometer-long section running through Azerbaijan, a 249-kilometer long section in Georgia and a 1,076-kilometer long section in Turkey. The construction of the pipeline started in April 2003. It was filled with oil on May 18, 2005.

BTC Co. shareholders are: BP (30.1 percent), AzBTC (25 percent), Chevron (8.9 percent), Statoil (8.71 percent), ТРАО (6.53 percent), Eni (5 percent), Total (5 percent), Itochu (3.4 percent), Inpex (2.5 percent), ConocoPhillips (2.5 percent) and ONGC (2.36 percent).

Iraq-Turkey pipeline transported 137.95 million barrels of oil through Turkey's territory from Jan.-Sept. 2015, compared to nearly 15 million barrels in the first nine months of 2014.

The pipeline transported 48.66 million barrels of oil in 2014, compared to 91.88 million barrels in 2013.

Ceyhan-Kirikkale pipeline transported 21.57 million barrels of oil through Turkey's territory from Jan.-Sept. 2015, compared to 17.5 million barrels in the same period in 2014.

In total, 22.21 million barrels of oil was transported via this pipeline in 2014, compared to 23.74 million barrels in 2013.

Batman-Dortyol pipeline transported 14.99 million barrels of oil from Jan.-Sept. 2015, compared to 10.3 million barrels in the same period in 2014.

The pipeline transported 17.78 million barrels of oil in 2014, compared to 11.61 million barrels in 2013.
