The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) hasn't yet decided on the volume of its oil export for 2016, a source in the company told Trend.

Possibly, the export will remain in the 2015 volumes (1.7 million tons of oil), said the source, adding that the export plan will be approved soon.

Moreover, SOCAR should decide on distribution of oil among the routes.

The company distributed its oil between the Baku-Novorossiysk and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipelines in 2015.

Baku-Novorossiysk transports oil produced by SOCAR independently, as well as the oil produced by joint enterprises from onshore fields.

BTC Co. shareholders are: BP (30.1 percent), AzBTC (25 percent), Chevron (8.9 percent), Statoil (8.71 percent), ТРАО (6.53 percent), Eni (5 percent), Total (5 percent), Itochu (3.4 percent), Inpex (2.5 percent), ConocoPhillips (2.5 percent) and ONGC (2.36 percent).
