Oil prices may drop to $20-25 per barrel, but it can't last too long, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said, TASS news agency reported.
He made the remarks in an interview with Russia 24 TV channel.
The deputy prime minister doesn't expect strong fluctuations in oil production volume in 2016.
Dvorkovich noted that the government also considers imposing taxes on financial results for oil companies.
"It will enable the companies which want to produce oil from old fields primarily by using modern production methods to achieve that and get commercial effect from it," he said. "Accordingly, we will get stable production."
