Iran boosts gasoline production capacity by 2 million liters/day

The third gasoline production unit of Isfahan Oil Refinery came on stream on February 3, adding 2 million liters per day to the country's daily gasoline output.

The unit boosted the refinery's total gasoline production to 12 million liters per day, including 8.5 liters per day of Euro-4 standard gasoline, Shana news agency reported on Feb.3.

Daily gasoline consumption in Iran stands at 75 million liters on average.

The country's gasoline output is currently some 64 million liters, requiring the country to import enough to meet domestic requirements.
