OPEC oil basket’s price stood at $46.46 per barrel on June 22, or $0.44 more than on June 21, the cartel told Trend June 23.
The OPEC Reference Basket (ORB) is made up of the following oil brands: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
Global oil prices increased on June 23.
The price for August futures of the North Sea Brent oil mix increased by 0.38 percent – to $50.07 per barrel, while the price of August futures for WTI oil increased by 0.28 percent – to $49.27 per barrel June 23 as of 11:03 (UTC/GMT+4 hours).
