EIA revises OPEC crude oil supply forecasts

The total OPEC crude oil supply, excluding condensates, will be 32.45 million barrels per day in 2016 and 33.03 million barrels per day in 2017, according to the forecasts of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) published in its October Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO).

This is while in its September STEO, EIA forecasted this figures at 32.41 million barrels per day and 32.95 million barrels per day, respectively.

The total OPEC oil supply was 31.76 million barrels per day in 2015, according to EIA estimates.

The Energy Information Administration forecasts the total OPEC daily oil supply to be 32.75 million barrels in 1Q 2017, 33.08 million barrels in 2Q, 33.23 million barrels in 3Q and 33.04 million barrels in 4Q.

The total OPEC oil supply stood at 31.76 million barrels per day in 1Q 2016, 32.41 million barrels per day in 2Q and 32.84 million barrels per day in 3Q, while it is expected to be 32.78 million barrels per day in 4Q.
