The Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) in Northern Iraq sold oil worth $636.364 million to world markets via the Turkish port of Ceyhan in October 2016, says a message on the port’s website.

According to the message, 16.766 million barrels of oil were shipped from Ceyhan, which makes almost 90 percent of 19.036 million barrels of oil produced by the KRG in October.

The oil export price averaged $39.32 per barrel in October.

Oil of the Iraqi KRG is shipped to Turkey via the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline.

Iraq’s state North Oil Company currently transports 75,000 barrels of oil per day to Turkey via the Kurdish-controlled pipeline.
