Iran’s 9-month oil, gas, petrochemical products export $31.5 B

During the first nine months of the current Iranian fiscal year (which started March 20), Iran exported worth $31.5 billion oil, gas, and petrochemical products.

$14 billion of the said number belonged to petrochemical and oil products, according to Chairman of Association of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Products Exporters Firouz Eslami said, ISNA news agency reported January 8.

This showed a 16 percent growth year on year, but the export of liquefied propane, methanol, and bitumen decreased in the meantime, he said.

Iran increased petrochemical products export during 8 months of the current fiscal year (started on March 21), by 754,000 tons to 13.7 million tons.

However the revenues declined by more than $1 billion to $6.75 billion.
