Mexico to collaborate with Baku Higher Oil School

Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rodrigo Labardini and Head of the Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Qasimov discussed prospects of cooperation between the School and the Mexican Institute of Petroleum, the embassy said in a message.
The diplomat noted that the Mexican Institute of Petroleum is interested in establishment of cooperation with the Baku Higher Oil School. According to Labardini, such cooperation is natural not only between the institutions but also between the both countries, considering the hydrocarbon deposits that Mexico and Azerbaijan have.
Qasimov, in turn, spoke about the School's links with foreign institutions and highlighted their positive influence on the enrichment of its experiences.
The parties discussed possible exchange of students and researchers between the Baku Higher Oil School and the Mexican Institute of Petroleum and noted the importance of establishment of cooperation for academic mobility, exchange of practices and joint researches. An agreement was reached for the development of such collaboration.
