Azerbaijan’s SOCAR-AQS LLC has completed drilling of a new well at the Western Absheron field in the Caspian Sea, the company told Trend June 9.
“The well #32 was drilled from the platform #20 at the Western Absheron field,” the company said. “The well’s depth is 750 meters.”
Azneft Production Union placed the order for drilling.
SOCAR-AQS was established in 2007 by SOCAR and Absheron Drilling as a joint venture, rendering integrated services for drilling and well servicing.
Currently, the company is conducting drillings at the Gunashli, Western Absheron, Umid and Bulla Deniz fields.
