Brent crude oil prices are expected to stand at $55 per barrel in the first two quarters of 2019, according to the forecasts of the UK-based consulting company Capital Economics.
This is while the quarterly forecasts for Brent oil prices for 2018 are as follows: $58 per barrel in Q1, $57 per barrel in Q2, $56 per barrel in Q3 and $55 per barrel in Q4, said the analysis obtained by Trend.
Brent prices are expected to stand at $55 per barrel in Q3 2017 and rise to $60 per barrel in Q4 2017.
As for the forecasts for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil, Capital Economics expects $55 per barrel and $58 per barrel in Q3 and Q4 of 2017, respectively.
The quarterly forecasts for WTI oil prices for 2018 are as follows: $56 per barrel in Q1, $55 per barrel in Q2, $54 per barrel in Q3 and $53 per barrel in Q4.
WTI prices are expected to stand at $53 per barrel in the first two quarters of 2019, according to the consulting company.
