Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 45.1 million tons of oil in January-July 2017, as compared to 47.6 million tons in the same period of 2016, said a message posted on the port’s website, Aug. 21.
The Novorossiysk port transshipped 18.78 million tons of oil products in January-July 2017, as compared to 19.15 million tons in January-July 2016, according to the message.
Overall, 85.2 million tons of various cargos were transshipped via the port in January-July 2017, as compared to 86.1 million tons in January-July 2016.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR transships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered there via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
