Jizzakh Petroleum JV LLC, one of the founders of which is JSC Uzbekneftegaz, is opening a network of petrol stations in Uzbekistan, Uzbekneftegaz said in a message on Dec.28.
The network will engage in the sale of imported Ai-92, Ai-93, Ai-95 and Ai-98 gasoline, diesel fuel (corresponding to European quality and standards) at free commercial prices.
The mechanism for the gasoline sale will include both the use of gas station network, conclusion of direct sales contracts or sale through exchanges at free commercial prices.
In November 2017, under the Cabinet's decree "On additional measures for timely supply with fuel and energy resources" the retail prices for motor gasoline and diesel fuel was increased as following: AI-80 - 3,800 UZS. ( an increase of 1,000 soums); AI-91 - 4,300 soums (an increase of 1,300 soums); Diesel fuel - 4100 soums; Diesel fuel ECO - 4200 soums.
Along with the price increase, the decree allowed the sale of the imported motor fuel (diesel fuel and gasoline AI-92, -93, -95 and -98) according to the European standards, as well as fuel produced from the (imported) raw materials, at the gas station determined by the Cabinet.
Furthermore, starting Jan.1, 2018, monopoly enterprises will sell their petroleum products only through exchange trades.
The rate for Dec.28, 2017 is 8120 UZS / USD.
