SOCAR Energy Ukraine company (a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR) won the tender of Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) for supply of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel, a source in SOCAR told Trend Dec. 29.
"The total amount of the transaction will reach 276.6 million Ukrainian hryvnia, that is, almost $9.83 million," the source said.
SOCAR exported 502,070 tons of diesel fuel in January-November 2017 compared to 676,170 tons for the same period of last year.
SOCAR is represented in Ukraine by its subsidiary - SOCAR Energy Ukraine. The company also owns 61 filling stations.
