SOCAR Energy Ukraine company (a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR) won the tender of Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) for supply of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel, a source in SOCAR told Trend April 3.
"The total amount of the transaction will reach 282 million Ukrainian hryvnia, that is, around $10.7 million," the source said.
SOCAR is represented in Ukraine by its subsidiary - SOCAR Energy Ukraine. The company also owns 60 filling stations.
