As many as 21 deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, said the message from the Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Entrepreneurs from Switzerland and Afghanistan purchased, respectively, straight-run gasoline and gasoline produced by the Seydi oil refinery.
Fine-grained potassium chloride and carbamide (Turkmenkhimiya State Concern) became the subject of transactions of businessmen from Turkey and Afghanistan. In addition, colorless sheet glass, portland cement, cotton yarn and fabric were sold. The buyer countries were Russia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than $10,620,000.
Participants of exchange trades can be enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership, citizens of Turkmenistan and other states by purchasing a brokerage place or concluding a service contract with brokers of the exchange.
The main export items are oil products, cotton-fiber, domestic textile products, chemical industry.
