Ukrtransnafta puts up another cargo of Azerbaijani oil on e-trades

Ukrtransnafta PJSC, operator of the oil transportation system of Ukraine, has put up 15,000 tons of Azerbaijani oil of Azeri Light grade on e-trading at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, to be held Aug. 22, the exchange said in a message Aug. 17.

The oil is offered from the tanks of the Yuzhny offshore oil terminal.

So far, Ukrtransnafta PJSC has sold 55,000 tons of Azerbaijani oil of Azeri Light grade on e-trading at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange. Privat Group bought 45,000 tons of oil, while Ukrgazdobycha PJSC bought 10,000 tons.

Ukrtransnafta successfully sold 42,800 tons of Azeri Light at the exchange trades in the second half of 2017. Ukrgazdobycha PJSC purchased 10,800 tons of Azeri Light from this volume.

Last year, Ukrtransnafta resumed operation of the oil pipeline from Odessa to Kremenchug and began to deliver Azeri Light to the Kremenchug refinery.

The Kremenchug refinery has been processing Azeri Light since December 2016, but earlier oil was supplied there by rail.

The Azeri Light oil is produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli block of fields in Azerbaijan.
